Latitude announces Simulcast Ground School

Latitude Aviation Jeff Fouche 7/2/16 Latitude Aviation announces Simulcast Ground School Coeur d Alene Airport July 2nd, 2016 An Simulcast Ground School has been scheduled for July and August, running July 12th thru August 18th on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-10pm PDT.  This class format is specifically targeted at students attending other schools or working during the day, and is especially well suited to students that want to learn the knowledge they need to become a pilot, but for whom it is impractical to attend a live school with the introduction of the new Simulcast distance education. “As usual, some our best ideas come from our very own students” begins Jeff Fouche, owner and Chief Instructor for Latitude.  “We are seeing live ground schools, and pre-recorded guided learning online schools, but not very many schools are doing a live distance learning program.  We’re excited to lead the way and bring more students to the classroom with our new program.” Covering the fundamentals of becoming a Private Pilot (also satisfies the requirements for learning to be a Sport Pilot), the class will use the Gleim Private Pilot curriculum to cover the require subjects like Aerodynamics, Airplane Systems and Components, Aviation Weather, Navigation and more. Utilizing a multimedia learning experience both live, in-person, and distance learning via web-based simulcast, taught by experienced instructors, the Simulcast Ground School represents the first of its kind at the Coeur d’ Alene Airport, and among the first such classes in the industry. Important dates: July 8th: deadline to sign up, deadline to pay for class and book kit. July 12th: first day of class. July...
