Basics of Electronic Flight Bags – Nov 7th 9:00AM $70 classroom / $50 online
- Want to get into Electronic Flight Bags, but don’t know where to start?
- Already own an EFB, but are unsure of how to maximize your success in the cockpit?
- Want to add to your knowledge of using and applying EFBs?
If you answered YES to any of those, then you will want to attend this class so that you can maximize your effectiveness with a powerful tool that is sometimes present in the cockpit, but might be misunderstood and underutilized at best or a powerful distraction at worst.
Join us and get an overview of tablet and accessory selection, as well as learn about basic scenarios that every EFB pilot must be prepared for, including obvious ones like diversion but also some not-so-obvious problems like power issues, unfamiliar symbols, and more.
Classroom participants will enjoy access to a mock GPS location from a live PC-based simulator to deepen their understanding and learning of their EFB in an applied scenario. This will unfortunately not be available to online participants.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering a Basics of Electronic Flight Bags class November 7th, 9am to noon. The class will be held at the Latitude Hangar and via Online Simulcast.
